Sea breeze

We had to struggle to order food at the restaurant. They focused on daily visits than people who booked for nights. We were desperate, didn't know where else to get food. It was not easy to get attention from the waiters. The kitchen would close while we were waiting to put orders & open after 2 hrs.

SOU HOSPEDE FREQUENTE deste lugar, mas desta vez, deixou a desejar. Nota-se muitos vendedores ambulantes na zona da praia que outrora nao era assim e isso torna o encanto de estar sossegado numa praia que foi sempre um diferencial neste alojamento. De noite tivemos um susto grande, pessoas a baterem na nossa janela com muita forca, assustou as criancas , os numeros do sao martinho ficam inoperacionais durante a noite o que e horrivel para emergencias. As criancas ficaram assustadas, e quando sorretairamente espreitei pela janela, vi que eram hospedes bebados de outra casa que devem se ter enganao, mas a brutaidao com que batiam os vidros e portas da casa , assustaram as meninas. A noite tornou-se mais de alerta e menos prazerosa. seguranca do sao martinho arredores nem 1! Atrasos nas limpezas diarias continua a ser um calcanhar de aquiles e as "madames das limpezas a falarem alto pelos corredores traseiros" quando ha pessoas a descansarem nos quartos e outro senao!

The views

When booking I was not told that I am on the second floor. Pricincing for one night is too high as it does not even come for breakfast. When getting to place the Sandy roads are very bad and vehicle got stuck. Restaurant staff seem to ignore u and u have to call to get service. Food not tasty and very bland. The beach looks so lovely but close up water is filthy with so much algae and slimy so u cannot swim there. It is the same the opposite side of the island. Ponto do ouro beach was amazing.

The food was horrible. The waiters got our orders wrong on 2 ocations. Waited 100 minutes for food

NOTHING

The location is picture perfect and undeniably stunning. White sand and gorgeous lagoon. The accommodation itself at the Villa is average.

My December rate was 10k a night and the standard and quality of the stay was not worth the spend. The beds and pillows were hard and not luxurious. The bathrooms are very dated and lacks the luxury feel one would expect for the price. The lounge had a bad odour which was either coming from the cushions or the couch.
