Amazing design, pool, a lot of plants. Comfy bed, hot and great pressure shower. Staff helpful.

Bathroom without vent, so after shower everything was wet. After flagging this, dehumidifier has been put in place and that solved the issue.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is an excellent variety of breakfast options, and everything was delicious. There was a good deal of noise above us on our first night. The manager graciously changed our room. Take the time to walk through the public rooms and spaces. It's a beautiful place.

There needs to be better signage outside. Our Uber driver wasn't sure he was at the right location. Some aspects of the property are need of refreshing, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Het hotel was in een aangename rustigere buurt. Over het hotel stopte openbaar vervoer waardoor je meteen ergens naartoe kon. Meteen naast het hotel was een restaurant zodat je bij een vermoeiende dag snel iets kon eten en je kon terug trekken. Op 10 minuten stappen is een treinstation waar je ook je dagticket kan kopen voor het openbaar vervoer. Dat ticket kan je ook gebruiken voor tram 28 die door het historische centrum gaat. Het personeel was ook echt fantastisch in de omgang en zeer behulpzaam.

De kamer was zeker proper maar wel vochtig. Ik vermoet dat in de warmere periodes wanneer je het badkamerraam open kan laten het vocht weg trekt maar wij zijn in maart gegaan waarbij het snacht nog kil is en dat merkte je wel. Wij lieten onze handdoen niet in de badkamer opdrogen omdat ze dan nog klammig waren. Een pen die op de kamer lag schreef met water ipv inkt. Wij hadden kamer 12 dewelke aan een binnenkoer gelegen was. Mogelijks is dit niet het geval bij de kamers die zich in het hoofdgedeelte van het hotel bevinden.

Gorgeously decorated former palace, this was a great place to call home during our time in Lisbon. The staff we super friendly and helpful in every way, breakfast was delicious and our room was spacious and comfortable. We would recommend to everyone and will return.

This was no problem for us, but if you have mobility issues perhaps the stairs would be a consideration.

Herrschaftlich übernachten wie portugiesischer Adel. Es war ein durchaus stimmiges Ambiente, Dekor, Mobiliar, die Fliesen an den Wänden, der herrliche Holzboden. Frühstück wurde serviert, welch ein vollkommener Service.

Would have been lovely to have a coffee machine in the room. Also the bath was not very comfortable, a nice roll top bath would have made it even more fabulous!

We stayed four nights at this hotel with our family and overall had a pleasant experience. The place is charming and beautifully decorated—true to its name, it really feels like a small private palace. We stayed in the suites facing the pool, which made the setting particularly enjoyable. Among the highlights, the location is excellent: the hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood while still being close to the city center. The staff were very kind and welcoming throughout our stay. The breakfast was also a great surprise, with very good products and served à la carte, which made it feel more refined than a typical buffet.

However, there are a few points that could be improved. The suites were quite humid and had an unpleasant smell at times. Some of the equipment is rather old and not always well maintained, for example, the bathtub faucets and towel holders were broken. The pool also does not seem to be cleaned daily, which means there were quite a lot of insects in the water so we didn't use it. It’s a pity because aside from these issues, the experience could have been outstanding.
