Cooinda Lodge Kakadu

Unique experience in the heart of Kakadu. Food is eh, but accommodation is good. My only gripe is room cleaning is very late in the day. Our room wasn't serviced until after 6pm on our 3 days there. To us this is not acceptable, but seems to be how they do things at Cooinda.

Good sized rooms, comfortable bed and good sized fridge. Staff very helpful and friendly. Bit pricey but ok for one night

We loved the bungalow, felt secluded but wasn’t. Clean and lovely. The Staff where helpful and friendly every where in the park. Best stay, didn’t want to leave.

Stayed in glamping tents. The cleanliness of the shared amenities let the experience down…the first afternoon the female bathroom was filthy, drains blocked and stank - placed a complaint. Cleaning schedule in males noted there was to be 4x daily but this was not completed even according to a record. Considering the price it was disappointing. We liked the free laundry, however it was also accessible by other guest staying at the lodge which meant queues. It relies on guests cleaning after themselves too heavily for the price being paid. The breakfast options are too limited for dietary requirements…would recommend take your own.

Amazing spot to enjoy Kakadu - be sure to take the sunset cruise with Yellow Waters. The lodge can in was very comfortable & clean!

Wonderful respite from September Kakadu heat. Daughter loved the pool. Friendly staff, relaxed vibes, comfortable room and beds. Easy base for dawn yellowwater cruise

Cooinda is definitely the right location for a stay in the Dry. Cabins well equipped and comfortable, lovely pool, staff friendly, close to wonderful boat trips and the home billabong at end of the camp. Not many camps where can see 3 kingfishers on a tree as walk to breakfast.

Excellent accommodation for a remote location. Well maintained grounds add to the tropical feeling.
