Tamarind Beach Bungalows

very bad experience. the electricity went out for about 15 minutes because I was afraid I was waiting in front of the pool. the room smelled very bad, the water in the small bathroom I asked to be loaned a water heater but the officer said there wasn't one because I lived in a standard room which was very annoying. the receptionist was very friendly but the cleaning staff was very unfriendly. very upset

This place was fair value for the price. We booked for our family of five so had two rooms and we stayed for 6 nights. Both rooms could do with a good clean and there was nowhere really to put luggage except the floor (unless you want to unpack into a wardrobe) . There was also no seating in our rooms but we were happy to sit outside and enjoy the warm evenings. The beds were comfy and clean but there seemed to be a shortage of towels. The pool was clean when we were there and my kids spent hours in there each day. Like many places on islands there’s no hot water for the showers, and the beach has a lot of coral on it, and there is Bali wildlife to navigate. But being so close (5-10 mins walk) to a variety of great restaurants, spas and Mushroom Bay made it all worth it. The staff were helpful, arranging a driver and a boat for us to go snorkelling etc. the breakfast is light but made starting the day with kids in tow easier than having to go elsewhere. There are nicer places nearby but the price of this place meant we could holiday longer and that worked for us. We would go again (but would take towels).

Do not recommend This spot has so much potential but needs management in place to overhaul the situation. This is by far one of the worst experiences ever and i wish I had read all the reviews prior to booking. The hotel is very dilapidated and dirty. The linen had holes in it. No hot water. We were charged 150,000 per night for an extra bed for our 3 year old which was a piece of old foam with no blanket. The rooms were not serviced or cleaned throughout our four night stay. When we requested fresh towels / pool towels I was advised all towels were at the laundry, we never received any towels. The reception and kitchen have mice running through it. On the upside the boat driver was amazing and location wise is only a short walk to nice restaurants and bars. The staff are nice enough, but are continually smoking. Will never return and do not advise families staying here.

최악입니다. 2박을 하였고 밤새도록 불법쓰레기 소각과 향 연기로 인하여 객색내로 스며들어 코가막혀서 잠을 제대로 잘수 없었으며 1박후 객실청소도 안해줍니다. 커피포트내부가 더러워서 차를 마실수 없었으며 뜨거운물이 나오지 않아 찬물로 샤워를 했고 물줄기도 엄청 약합니다. 조식도 형편없으며 주위에 쓰레기들로 가득합니다. 관리가 제대로 안되어 있어 수영장도 엉망이고 서비스도 별로입니다.

The staff are friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. The ocean and beach views are spectacular and even better when sitting in the infinite pool. Plenty of restaurants, shopping and massages all in walking distance. I highly recommend Tamarind Beach Bugalows 😊🏝️🌺

The location was great, right on the beach, the staff were really friendly, there was something sharp in the pool that cut two of our kids feet and our room didn’t have hot water, otherwise the room was great, Family room with 2 queen or king beds, nice breakfast, variation of pancakes, omelettes, scrambled eggs, toast, juice tea and coffee, super affordable

Bathroom was terrible

Vi leide en bungalow som viste seg å ha to separate soverom, med privat svømmebasseng mellom. Helt perfekt for oss. Noe slitte bad, men en nydelig beliggenhet med utsikt mot ha havet. Ingen strand, men 100m til Secret beach. En liten betonghylle førte til en klippe med liten lagune. Veldig idyllisk. God mat og vakker utsikt fra restauranten ved siden av. Vi var veldig fornøyd med rom og opphold. Veldig hyggelig og søt betjening. Vi gir hotellet 7/10.

We had booked the Deluxe room with seaview and were thoroughly disappointed after seeing the room. The facilities were advertised with a fridge, a room safe, toiletries (which turned out to be a piece of soap. There was no fridge or safe and plaster was falling off the walls in the room. The towels were stained and big enough for a child. Ontop of that, the room wouldn't even lock from the outside. Staff tried contacting the owner without any luck. Luckily we were able to cancel this room, which we had booked for 3 nights. They also couldn't contact the owner. It was already latish Inthe afternoon and we decided to book a standard Aircon room, which was better value for money. The breakfas that was served the next morning, was almost an insult. It consisted of coffee (which was the best of the whole breakfast), 2 slices of toastish bread, a packet of rock hard butter and a tiny packet of jam. Prison food in my opinion. They would be better to not include a free breakfast. The swimming pool.......it was unusable if you want to stay healthy. Not being cleaned or serviced for s very long time. It has slime, mould and debris over the bottom of it plus an electric cable protruding into the water. Enough now......I would not recommend this place to anybody. It's also not really on a beach as advertised.
