Villa Tamara Hotel

Wonderful hotel in a lovely setting, went half board breakfast and dinner good. Fresh fish one night and BBQ another. Get a taxi to kas only 25tl, eat there one night and go on a boat trip 'grand safari' was good. I'd happily go again

Really nice location. Hotel wasn't too busy in September so plenty of sunbeds/facilities to go round. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Down by the water is a great place to unwind for the day - has its own private area by the rocks with ladders down into the water. The hotel could do with a bit of a touch up. Some parts of the room and grounds a bit shabby for wear but the overall layout and atmosphere is excellent. And the room we got was huge (honeymoon suite)

We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is spectaculair. The views of the ocean, the swinmingpool, the decks on the ocean, everything was great. Our favorite part was laying out on the sun beds on the decks next to the ocean, and jumping of the decks to cool off every now and then.

Villa Hotel Tamara is located on a peninsula near Kas. We stayed in a Honeymoon suite where after an initial unforeseen issue we moved to a different room. The hotel manager is a very nice lady and want to ensure that all guests have a good and enjoyable time at the resort. We chose the half board option. The breakfasts were large and generous but started at 8:30 which was later than we would have preferred. The dinners were good but the menus were difficult to read. It would be great if they were updated and made more legible. The room itself was very large but a jetted tub in the ensuite bathroom. We didn't stay much in the room but is was clean & tidy and the bed was very comfortable. The outside facilities were excellent. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, 1 fresh water and 1 salt water. There are plenty of sun bathing areas near the pools and near the sea. The hotel has easy access to the sea but doesn't have a beach due to the terrain. Overall the hotel facilities was good. The hotel manager makes the place work but there is room for improvement.

The location is great and the build of the hotel is good. It's not meant for disabled though - needs a lot of walking up/ down the stairs. The breakfast was equivalent to a 2-star property with stale chocolate corn flakes, and hardly anything edible. The omelet was the only thing I could eat. The pricing is too high for the services offered.

Our first room, one of their "honeymoon suites", was dark, sparse, unwelcoming, and next to a room with trash and dirty towels on its front patio. We asked to switch but were told the hotel was full. We persisted and were put into a room that was way better - sunlit, spacious, colorful, with its own deck and balcony. It took the staff 30 minutes to move our stuff to our new room, during which time it sat in the open in the baking sun. We'd have moved it ourselves, but the staff insisted they'd do it. The bartender didn't know how to make the drinks we ordered and gave us something entirely different. The resident cat leapt onto my wife's lap at dinner to steal her shish kabob but only got the tomato. When we told our server, she didn't even bring another one. We didn't feel breakfast was as good as other places we stayed - the selections were limited, the hot dishes not very hot, and the chairs were so tall your thighs would get stuck halfway under the table and you’d bump into the person behind you making it hard to get in and out. Despite the above, we really enjoyed our stay and had the most wonderful day doing nothing but sit on the private patio down by the water's edge, sunning, swimming, eating, drinking and watching sea turtles. The hotel is beautiful, our room very comfortable, the setting incredible, and the staff all very nice, but we were surprised how different two rooms of the same level could be and the disparity between the hotel's appearance and how its run.

Amazing location with breathtaking views. Hotel was a real hidden gem with lovely rooms and very attentive staff. Bar/restaurants prices much higher than in town which is the only bad thing about the hotel.

A special place overlooking the sea, with a terrific salt water pool, unbelievable views from every room, many lovely terraces, and interesting architecture. Our host, "Nellie", was most welcoming, especially when we arrived late in the evening. The bar overlooking the pool and sea could not have been better and the restaurant's food - while not Turkish gourmet - was certainly good, with excellent service. The peace and quiet was well worth the 5 km drive from town. Kas is a great little town, much less commercial than other Turkish towns along the coast.

Stunning location and the view from the hotel is simply beautiful. It overlooks the Mediterranean sea. The room was spacious and clean.There is place to park your car but the approach road is quite steep. Overall good experience.

We stayed for two nights last week on vacation. The hotel was very lovely. The rooms are beautifully decorated with comfortable beds. We had a water view and it was glorious. We swam in the ocean each day and there is also a salt water swimming pool that is "Devine". The restaurant serves great meals and the staff are kind and conscientious.
