Raheem Heritage Beach Resort Since 1868

Fabulous staff amazing food,help and care over questions about a wedding we had to go to was superb. The massage spa was excellent and great value for money. Lovely pool and great location by beach and so easy to get tuk tuk anywhere

Nothing really the showered was hot or miss for pressure and heat but didn't matter as pool was right there.

the property is old style, beautiful.

it has the construction in front. a bit noisy. i hope it ends soon.

building work going on in front and next to hotel which is not their fault but did impact the stay. Earplugs a must. Suggest aircon and fan on in room at night to reduce road traffic noise

Het gebouw is van structuur en sfeer mooi. Aanwezigheid zwembad was fijn.

De naam van het hotel suggereert een “beach resort” te zijn. Je verwacht dan ruimte en ligging aan het strand. Mogelijk klopte dat bij de opstart maar dat is nu niet het geval (meer). Het hotel wordt gescheiden van het (vuile) strand door een weg en een in aanbouw zijnde hoofdweg die op zo’n 15 meter hoogte wordt aangelegd en bijna over het hotel loopt. Er rijden de komende jaren nog geen auto’s maar zodra de weg af is betekent dit nog meer lawaai. Het hotel is op onderdelen (heet water, zwembad, restaurant) sterk verouderd en vervuild. Er is onvoldoende personeel om te bedienen in het restaurant waardoor het lang duurt voor je bent geholpen. De kamer was ruim en authentiek ingericht wat voor en nadelen heeft. Het bed was bijv. 1 meter hoog wat lastig was om er in en uit te gaan. Bijgeleverd trapje was levensgevaarlijk. Geen warm water in badkamer. Stoffige kastjes en niet sluitende ramen waardoor muggen vrij entree hebben en veel lawaai van buiten is te horen. Elektriciteit levensgevaarlijk. En zo kan ik nog wel even doorgaan. Niet hotel waardig!

Great for 1 or 2 nights. Hotel was fabulous. 15 mins ride to houseboat. Beach area was great with a fun fair. Restaurant was good.

La casa coloniale in cui è ospitata ha molto fascino

Purtroppo esattamente sopra il Resort è stata costruita un’autostrada sopraelevata che rovina il paesaggio e l’atmosfera, nonché l’accesso alla spiaggia

No proper parking; vehicles were parked on the roadside. No luggage assistance, no welcome staff. Poor maintenance and dirty floors. Severe mosquito problem — couldn’t sleep at all.

The building was beautiful, renivated in keeping with the original style which made an impact. The rooms were really spacious and the pool area was wonderful. Staff were lovely and welcoming, the waiter, security guard and caretaker were particularly sweet.

A LOT of mosquitos. They did come round at night with citronella smoke but a net or plug in citronella woukd have been nice in the room itself. A couple more sunbeds around the pool would be a great addition.

L accueil et le personnel est tres sympathique. Maison de maitre du 19eme siecle en face de la plage confortable,grand volume dans les chambres. Salle de bain moderne. Excellent restaurant avec toutes les boissons occidentales possible.
