Hotel Pal Heights

The location was excellent, undeniably good, and perfectly situated in the center of the city. I have stayed here many times previously specifically for this reason, as it makes navigating the area incredibly easy. However, despite the fantastic location, this particular experience was exceedingly bad from check-in staff behaviour to cleanliness and service. I sincerely wish not to visit this property again.

1. Staff Behavior and Management: The behavior of the staff was completely unacceptable, displaying indifference and a lack of professionalism. Specifically, the Front Desk Manager was ill mannered and dismissive. 2. Finish and Construction Quality: While the property looks like it may have been recently constructed or modified, the work is clearly not finished well. There was a persistent, strong, and deeply unpleasant chemical smell throughout the hallway and even inside the room—likely residual paint or construction fumes—which made breathing uncomfortable. 3. Cleanliness and Amenities: There was a complete lack of basic cleanliness. Surfaces were dusty, corners were neglected, and the overall state of the room was subpar. Furthermore, the provided towels were old and had a distinct, foul, and musty smell. 4. Overall Experience: This was, unequivocally, the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The combination of health-affecting smells, gross amenities, lack of cleanliness, and rude management completely overshadowed the convenience of the location. The property needs serious oversight concerning management, renovation quality, and hygiene standards before it can be considered a decent place to stay.

The kind of tariff they charge is not worthy. The linen are of poor quality, horribly smelly rooms, bathroom is pathetic, shower are cloaked. It doesn’t worth more than INR 2500 per night.
