Hilton Nanjing

The hotel was great, nice lounge, room are clean and comfortable. Staff was professional and helpful.

We had problem with the air-conditioning. When we visit, it was summer, it was around 38-40 degree those days. So we hope when we returned to the hotel, we expect to have a cool refresh. But the temperature in the room was warm, it’s warm for us and we couldn’t adjust the control. The temperature in the room was up to 26 degree. I called the reception to report, they switch me to another room which was a little better but the air-condition was still not able to control.

Check in front desk team was efficient and helpful. Hotel Easy assess and near by mall and restaurant. Robot delivery was fantastic

Housekeeping need improvement. I stay 5 nights And only 2 days proper tidy and coesnnip as housekeeper came 4-5pm very late when I return and need rest she came in. For Hilton hotel Standard I would expect attention to details. Tissue or toilet roll was left on table and not replenish, mean I have to do it. amenities wasn't replenish thru out my stay. In Chinese word said 卫生管理非常马虎·

Convenient location, very close to the metro

Very dated rooms, dark and require maintenance. Property needs to be updated to be brighter, more modern

This is a warning to all western tourists and visitors - the hotel does not have non-smoking policy that is enforced. There are non-smoking floors but the hotel does not impose any type of punishment such as a fine for guests that smoke in non-smoking rooms. Since almost everyone in China smokes cigarettes, you are all but guaranteed to have your room smell of smoke regardless of if you are on a non-smoking floor or not. The nicer hotels such as the Intercontinental and Ritz Carlton impose fines for smoking which deters guests from smoking in their room and incentives them to follow the rules, but the Hilton Nanjing does not.

Overall fine stay. Staff are courteous and ready to help but get ready for Translator app. Beautiful lobby area. Executive Lounge could be much better. While the food was fine but drinks quality needs significant improvement. The manager could not give a soda water to us cos she said the stock is finished for that month (super weird for 10 RMB soda !) Breakfast was fine overall. Hotel room shows signs of wear and tear but I liked my room (except smoking smell).
