It’s a fantastic hotel in an excellent location and the staff were amazing, friendly and so helpful.

Nothing, however their head office is a different matter. They were not very helpful, compassionate or flexible. I needed to rearrange the visit as my wife was taken ill and could not travel. I had spoken to the hotel and they gave me dates that were available but said I had to go through booking.com who were also helpful. However the head office of the hotel blocked the request saying it was too late to change although all other party were ok with it. There was no sign of flexibility or compassion even they knew the position and the hotel itself was ok with it. I had to travel alone with my dog and leave the wife at home being cared for by family so I didn’t lose the money paid for the one night. Poor customer relations and I will not be booking to go there again even though it was a lovely stay.

Great location just a few minutes walk from the beach. All of the staff are really good with dogs so you always feel welcome and looked after. The evening meal and breakfast were both really good so we'll definitely be back there again soon.

The welcoming staff, the beautifully appointed rooms, the bar & restaurant were all just fabulous The attention to detail makes the whole place special Well worth a visit

Second time we stayed, it was still a great place to stay over, lovely location!

No one at reception on check in (needs a bell or something) and had to disturb someone having lunch (once I went searching for someone to check us in), with great laughter of the barman and other members of staff….bit weird and unprofessional I thought at the time!! 🙄🙄

Beautiful listed building, very helpful and friendly staff. Great food. Nice restaurant and bar area. There was a problem with the heating and hot water the first day we were there which couldn’t be helped and the staff were really stressed, but remained professional and friendly.

The stairs to get to the bedroom. Quite steep and difficult to get up to. Getting the luggage up and down was quite challenging, however the receptionist did offer to help. She also moved us to a lower floor as I couldn’t manage the steep steps to the second floor.
