Magic Reef Bungalows

Die Bungalows sind absolut top, mega praktisch, stylisch und sehr sauber! Dusche, WC sind sehr gross. Es fehlt absolut nichts!

Es sind effektiv einfach Bungalows. Es gibt nicht zu kaufen also keine Bar, kein Restaurant und kein Shop. Das war uns bei der Buchung nicht ganz bewusst.

Magic Reef is a beautiful resort, very relaxing. The bungalows are well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. It was also great to have our own comfortable lounge chairs on the deck to take in the views out over the reef, watching the waves crashing and the sun setting which was all simply breathtaking. There are a few really good restaurants within walking distance down the beach, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing time. We hired a car for a couple of days to explore around the island, enjoy some beach swimming, snorkeling and to eat at some different restaurants. The pool was great, lovely temperature and depth. Our hosts and all the staff were friendly, helpful and we enjoyed talking with them. Thanks for the beautiful platter in the fridge, the beers, juice etc which was so appreciated. We would highly recommend Magic Reef if you like a small boutique resort.

Schöne Location um Sonnenuntergänge zu sehen. Die Outdoor Badezimmer scheinen relativ neu renoviert worden zu sein und die Früchteplatte mit Milch und Saft ist sehr lecker. Personal war sehr freundlich und die elektro Autos die man buchen kann, sind sehr praktisch!

Da es viele offene Stellen im Bungalow hat, war es mit persönlich morgens zum schlafen zu hell. Das ist aber Motzen auf hohem Niveau.

This place is literally out of a dream. The rooms are gorgeous and so peaceful, the small size of the hotel makes it very quiet and relaxing, and the staff is beyond amazing. We can’t wait to come back, and will stay here for all trips to the Cook Islands!

Absolutely nothing, everything was perfect

Can’t beat the location right on the beach, within walking distance to restaurants. Staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable.

Lovely, clean well maintained resort. The driver that met us at the airport was exceptionally accomodating. We arrived early and it was raining. As we could not check in he went out of his way to take us to a nice caffe near the resort and then came back to give us umbrellas. Such thoughtful customer service. The owners left us in the fridge simple yet vet nice breakfast to “get us started” although it was not included in the price. Much appreciated thought.

Unfortunately the resort does not have any under cover areas to cater for wet weather. When guests arrive early (as all flights from AU do) and it’s raining you have nowhere to go. Office is not open until 9am and when it’s open it’s small and can not accommodate appropriately. Considering how lovely bungalows and overall grounds are, how thoughtful staff and management is the only thing that’s missing is one small common area that can be used as “get together “ stocking basic groceries or simple coffee shop/restaurant. Would be nice not to have to leave resort and have option to either buy and eat in the bungalow or small restaurant. In addition would be nice to invest a bit to “clear” small section of the beach (water) to gain safe access to the sea water. Beach is difficult to access due to rocks.

I rented one of their EV's for the week which was handy to get around the Island

As Rarotonga is in their winter it was a little chilly which was unexpected as I was looking for somewhere warm to get away to this made their outside shower a little uncomfortable on some of the windy days. TV did not work at all on netflix and there was no one there that could fix it.?

There was no meal/restaurant attached to the property. Continental breakfast was given for the FIRST morning. I will want to try other accommodatiins just out of interest The excellent WIFI Outdoor shower and bath…WOW
