Hotel Elizabeth Cebu

Their hot water was really hot, unlike the other Hotels I have stayed at. Also, they were able to accomodat me during their breakfast eventhough I came late.

Four days stay at the hotel. They made us comfortable when we faced an urgent situation. I will go back to them when I visit Cebu later days.

I have stayed at this property many times over the last seven years and found the staff to be excellent. The hotel is rather aged, but they do their best to keep it looking as good as possible. Breakfast on some days is superb and other days, often lacking of food selection, and often times they do not refill in a timely fashion. I am surprised that they can have anywhere from 30 to 150 people, dining for breakfast, and yet they have one small toaster that can handle two pieces of bread. The restaurant staff is very pleasant and efficient and keep the area very clean. I keep coming back because it's the kind of hotel that can make you feel at home. One of the best highlights is the Ayala Center Mall is just a three minute walk and a very large metro grocery store that has absolutely everything at your fingertips. Sometimes breakfast is included in the room charge and other times it is not depending on who you book with and what rate you can find online on third-party websites. But the cost of the breakfast is very reasonable. Should you have to pay and very young children are often charge only once for two children. The location is very centralized and convenient. Are they 24 hour 7-Eleven store just a three minute walk away? The biggest highlight is the front desk, staff and supervisors as they are fast and efficient and pleasant and helpful as can be. The hotel is very safe are they doorman 24 hours a day and the porters are efficient and pleasant.

We have been to 3 other hotels including Waterfront lahug. But we LOVED Hotel Elizabeth the most!!!! We loved the big rooms, and its convenience to Ayala mall. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

The staff and guest service was amazing. This made up for the dated-ness of the furniture and the room. Unfortunately, we experience tiny cockroaches that came out of the bathroom drain. Hence the lower score on cleanliness. We weren't too freaked out but other guest in the future may well be. We would definitely still recommend this hotel to family and friends staying in Cebu City.

What was unique about the property was its location and accessibility to other places in town.

I booked a night at this hotel but I could not find a way to cancel the stay. They make it impossible to contact them for that reason. I won't book with them again.

Stayed many times, this time room was poor ish, beds, 3 singles left us with backaches, bathroom needs maintenance like lose toilet seat. Good though, staff nice as.

I stayed one night and asked to cancel the rest of my stay because a super typhoon was approaching and I didn’t feel safe. The hotel said it was ok to that I needed to contact hotels.com for refund.I called Hotels.com and they said they would provide a refund after speaking with the Elizabeth hotel. I left the country thinking everything was taking care of but now I received a email saying the refund couldn’t happen because they could reach the hotel. So now I am in a endless email chain and calling daily to figure out why this is happening. Very unprofessional and not putting customers safety first over profit.

I booked this hotel for my parents - they found it neat and clean, had good a/c, and exceptional customer service. They had issues with the bathroom sink not draining, and the hotel staff were there almost immediately to assist. The hotel is within walking distance from Ayala Center, a major Cebu mall and the location is convenient. 10/10, would recommend.
