Kalestesia Suites

The orientation when checking in was overkill. The manager is very nice but it just wasn't necessary to spend a half hour with him. This is a remote property and we were not told until we arrived that there is no longer a restaurant on property. However, this was a little inaccurate as there is a pool bar to order food from. So, there isn't a formal restaurant but we could get food each day. Also, there were 3 couples that checked in the day we did. We had made our reservation first and yet we were put in a temporary room and had to move the next morning. It would have been so nice to have been settled in our room from the first night. Lastly, it did seem like the staff felt a little put out when we modified the time we wanted breakfast and what we wanted for breakfast. That could just be Greek culture. I would still recommend the hotel.

I went to this resort alone with my two kids. The staff was really professional and yet friendly. The two-room apartment was super clean. The views from the resort are incredible. We spent a lot of time at relaxing at the pool. You must know the hotel location is remote. You need to rent a small car to access the hotel and the roads are really narrow and kind of difficult to navigate. That said, it’s all worth it!

Our family of four (2 adults, 2 young kids) had a great time at Kalestesia Suites. The suites are large compared to normal hotel rooms. Our room had a hot tub on the second floor balcony with an incredible view of the caldera. The kids spent many happy hours swimming in the pool. The hotel's host, Michael, helped us with everything we needed from restaurant advice to boat tours. When we chose to follow online reviews instead, we usually regretted it.

A boutique hotel nestled in the hill top of Akrotiri. Amazing views along with friendly and helpful staff made our stay one to remember. Highly recommended and hope to come again soon!

We booked our holiday for our 30th Anniversary after checking the information on your website. We were looking to using the suite amenities which included the restaurant/bar/lounge/pool bar/plunge pool/bathrobe and slippers! We arrived and we were looking forward to a meal and a drink in the evening after our long journey. None of the above amenities were open, after my husband made a comment they provided us with one drink in our suite. The nearest food shop is about an hours walk but no hob to be able to cook yourself anything hot in your suite. Be aware that you do need a car to get about and walking back to the suites is all up hill. With this in mind after going out during the day or for a meal we would off liked to relax having a drink at their bar during the evening but it was never open. The pool bar during the day didn't have any staff after they cleaned the area and put the towels out. There was no plunge pool in our suite/bathrobes or slippers. The staff did explain the area with a map and arranged the hire car for us.

Heated outdoor jacuzzi was excellent overlooking the Caldera and Sunset View! Breakfast was great. Both the Manager (Mike) and Hostess were hospitable in fact all the staff were accommodating and friendly!

We absolutely loved our stay at Kalestesia Suites and have no complaints. Our room was so lovely and breakfast was delicious every day! The staff was so kind and accommodating! The only thing I would say is to be sure you have a small car as the road to get to the hotel has an area between two buildings that is quite tight even for a small vehicle. That being said, we absolutely loved the location on the southern end of the island. We will definitely be going back!

I highly recommend this hotel, is beautiful and great location the view is just amazing and I was really surprise of the room was beautiful it was our last day in Santorini and we just stay at the hotel enjoying the room. Great breakfast you can even choose what you want to eat, great service and attention of the reception guy. We really have a great time. I will take this hotel next time.
