USThe owner was very responsive and helpful. Room was very nice. Breakfast was good; nothing made to order but that' okay. We only stayed one night but I would have liked to stay longer. Highly recommend!

IEBreakfast is good. Mattress is superb. Lovely view of the sea.
The location is at very elevated level. I can walk down to beach but would be tough to walk back up to hotel. There is no taxi service in this small town.

GBIELeonardo was an excellent host. He picked us up from the train station and brought us back there when we were leaving. The lady who looked after our room did an excellent job and was very pleasant and helpful. The room was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. It had a beautiful view from the two balconies and was bright and airy.
Breakfast was very disappointing. According to the listing on Booking.Com we were led to believe an "exceptional breakfast, a daily buffet breakfast which includes cappuccino and herbal tea, together with cheese, salami, and pastries" would be available. This is what we paid for. Instead we were given a voucher for a coffee and croissant in the local gelateria. The lounge was closed during our stay and we did not get to view the original olive and wine press through the glass floor.
DEThe village of Cariati and its surroundings, the restaurant next door, the gelato at the breakfast cafe, the effort the host and staff invested to meet our complaint.
The cleanliness of the room upon arrival did not meet our expectations, so we complained.
