"We want to come back"

9.0

The village of Cariati and its surroundings, the restaurant next door, the gelato at the breakfast cafe, the effort the host and staff invested to meet our complaint.

The cleanliness of the room upon arrival did not meet our expectations, so we complained.

"Beautiful"

Wonderful B&B. Comfortable, eclectic and in such a romantic hilltop village. Just don't eat at the tapas bar up the street. It is truly awful. There are a number of places offering food and wine. We chose the wrong one.

"Value for money"

10.0

This hotel, in a completely modernized building from 1600 is second to none. The small old town is fascinating and with an impressive view over the coast an even parking near the hotel was possible. The best breakfast that we had on a longer trip to Italy. A place where you feel welcome - this i value for Money.

"An historic gem on the top of the hill."

10.0

Just an overnight stay for my wife and I but what a great experience. Giuseppe, the young owner and host, greeted us as we arrived and took care of us from that moment on - we felt likes friends and family. If you are arriving by car you will see the historic town on the top of the hill. This is a walled town with only one entrance, Porta Pia. You drive in through this portal, all the way through town and then left to the end where you will park. Just a stones throw from the hotel. Strolling through town is a pleasure as everyone is friendly. While few speak English they are all so welcoming and friendly. There are only a few restaurants and wine shops in town but there are unbelievably fabulous. A GREAT stay for 1-2 nights.
