Olivers Guest House

Location was good. Received a friendly welcome and breakfast was very nice.

Unfortunately, the permit parking is a 15 minute walk away and this was not made clear when I reserved the permit. We were unlucky to be there at the same time as some particularly noisy guests.

The friendly host who also cooked a lovely breakfast every morning and made sure we had everything we needed.

That our room was above a main road, constant traffic noise throughout the day and night, room needed more sound proofing.

The whole place needs a deep clean will not be staying there again

The shared bathroom was disgusting so needs sorting the attic rooms also could do with some TLC

Right on the seafront very close to town a positive stay

The stairs where very narrow but all in all a good stay

La posizione è a due passi dalla spiaggia, a pochi minuti dalla stazione dei treni e facilmente raggiungibile il centro è il paese con una breve passeggiata. La colazione era ben presentata e buona.

La mia stanza aveva il bagno condiviso. Il bagno era terribile, molto scomodo, con la doccia che si faceva fatica ad utilizzare se si è un po’ alti. Per fare uscire l’acqua si deve tirare una cordina fuori dalla doccia stessa. La stanza non era molto pulita, l’ultimo giorno ho trovato il telecomando della te che non c’era era sotto il letto tutto impolverato, segno che le pulizie non erano state fatte molto bene al cambio ospite. Nella saletta della colazione il personale non mi ha consentito di farmi sedere in un posto vicino alla finestra che avevo scelto, perché lo aveva prenotato per una altra coppia di ospiti che peraltro sono arrivati più tardi. Non sapevo che si dovesse prenotare il posto!
