The Blue Bell Inn

The staff were very nice and accommodating

The Inn was closed despite the opening times on the website, so we had to use the fire escape steps at the rear to enter/exit the place. No heating in the bathroom so we didnt use the shower as it was too cold. Needs a paint job in places No safety or fire exit instructions in the room

its in a nice place the staffe were very good and the breakfast was great

the poor thing was the pub is for sale and not open the place need some care and attention its a real shame the value for money is what we paid was our rating but any one who paid more than us well ??

Small room, radiator on full blast before arrival and room was stifling didn’t sleep well due to this, very small bathroom and shower.

We decided not to stay for breakfast. The bathroom was clean.

Over priced for such a small room. Outdated decor and furniture. Surprised to see an extension cable hanging loose down the wall to service the tv. Carpet and paintwork appeared to be a bit grubby. The Inn was not serving evening food. We wouldn't recommend, especially as our experience didnt live up to previous feedback on booking site.

The location of the pub was lovely in rural Yorkshire. The breakfast was very good and options were good. The quality was very nice.

Unfortunately once I had booked the room I discovered that the pub had only a week ago closed it's restaurant for evening meals. The interior was very tired and in need of re-decoration, however speaking to the owner they are looking to close the business completely in the near future. We trust Booking.com to ensure that their website accurately reflects the current status of the locations on their website. In mitigation there was no information on the Blue Bell website to inform people booking that there was no food in the evenings.

Friendly local hotel/b n b enjoyed a tasty evening meal and overnight stay .
