Set in a lovely little village, great access to filey and Scarborough

The room was very warm! We did go in the middle of a heatwave so I expected it to be hot but the room didn't have a window so I couldn't get any air flow going. I could have done with a fan

It was all just perfect, arrived in the middle of the afternoon, no problem Karl arrived within seconds. Lovely and very clean rooms including the bathroom. Had me fish and chips, just great. Bridlington beach is just about 15 minutes away, and the village is stunning place to stay.

Disappointed with the superior double room. It was quite small. The decor was tired. The room(room 1) was very dusty particularly beind the bed and behind the bedside tables. Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling light fitting. The carpet on the stairs leading upto the bedrooms was filthy. The pub itself was dark and dingy. The only good thing was the breakfasr which was excellent.

Fantastic place. Lovely setting. Excellent hosts.

Only downside was no restaurant on the evenings but we were warned so made other arrangements so not a problem.

Clean, nice white bedding, attempt to Make room look inviting.

Beds very uncomfortable , hard could feel springs. Did not sleep. Shower did not work , temperature regulator did not work. Small room only window in roof . Window opened by rope. No blinds so light at 4 am . Dirty kettle. No plug fur phone only via over loaded adapter which sparked when plugged phone in. Dirty carpet.

Quiet location, and breakfast was alright

Approach to rooms was unappealing (see photo). Room was very small but as described.

Easy to find and access via the pub. Upstairs rooms are adequately sized, and have all the normal amenities, but have no cross ventilation, and are very hot and stuffy. Both myself and my neighbour found that keeping the front door open was the only way to get some ventilation. Extraction fan in the bathroom doesn't work, and no air-conditioning or room fan provided. Nice shower, but bath towels need replacing - one was frayed around the edges, the other had a stain. Very nice breakfast included, with a very pleasant waitress.
