Can't really comment because we didn't stay

There weren't any windows in the room, only a skylight , we didn't know this when we booked, no mention on Booking.Com, although we were informed by the landlady numerous times it states on this on their website, we weren't aware they had one, also her attitude wasn't very welcoming, we decided not to stay, would have been too uncomfortable, everything was already paid so no loss to them and 2 less breakfasts to cook, and her sarcastic parting comment after paying for 2 drinks we'd had. It's an old building, doesn't warrant installing air conditioning, we won't be going back or recommending

Owners put a fan in bedroom for us which kept us cool .......especially the dog.

Lovely stay hosts Karl and Julie hospitality first class. Room spacious and clean excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay again if in location

Nice clean room

Excellent place to stay. It’s in a lovely location. Rooms were excellent. We stayed in one of the champagne rooms. Karl and Julia couldn’t do enough. Well worth a visit.

Only down side was no evening meal on the nights we stayed so had to go off site. Although we were warned before hand and arranged to eat at another pub not too far away.

Wow what a great place to stay, out in the countryside, very peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was excellent, good quality ingredients, and yorkshire Tea! we will most definitely be staying here again in the near future, fantastic friendly owners.
