The noise from outside early morning

Really lovely welcoming host, as a lone female traveller I felt immediately at home. Room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Had a great chill out and good nights sleep. Forgot to let host know in advance that i am gluten free, but host was kindly all set up anyway and able to accommodate this with no problem. Lovely cooked breakfast and fresh fruit too. Dont travel to this part of the world often but would definitely go back.

Lovely, clean room and bathroom. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. We had the full English and it didn't disappoint. Felt very safe as the entrance/exit is gated. Owner, Susan, is very nice and friendly and readily available as she lives on site. Should we be back in this general area then we would definitely stay here again.

Our only teeny, tiny [not really a] complaint is that the breakfast room was very quiet. Just some low volume radio noise would have been great. Not a problem if just you dining, but two others ate at the same time and the silence was a little uncomfortable.

Excellent choice of breakfast, a lovely cooked one if you wanted. Room was a little compact although bathroom and shower were fine. Bed was comfy enough and had no problems sleeping. I liked the fact that we could use the dining room facilities in the evening to eat a take away if you wished. As motorcyclists, the electronic gates and hard standing car park gave us full confidence that our bikes were secure overnight.

Susan was a lovely host, very welcoming. The property is well-maintained and has a lovely, homely feel. The car park was modern and secure. The bed was incredibly comfy and the room very quiet.
