Steep and narrow stairs to rooms

Lovely friendly place in a good location . Rooms are lovely and food excellent. We booked for 2 nights dinner bed and breakfast but unfortunately had to cut our trip short for personal reasons so only stayed the 1 night but couldn't fault the hotel.

The Bridge End Hotel exceeded expectations by far! Tbh I was thinking a pub with rooms would be a bit old-fashioned with creaky floorboards, but this place delivered a beautifully renovated room with a stunning view of the river and town. Dinner in the pub was high quality and breakfast was everything you would wish for in any accommodation. The location right on the river, was stunning. Most noteworthy were the staff. Each one was friendly, attentive and polite. Excellent service. Highly reccommended.

Not an issue for us, but be aware that there are two staircases and no lift, so if mobility is an issue this could be a problme. Also, car parking is a few hundred yards down the street and cost £4 daily.

Breakfast was good. Location excellent. Staff friendly. Good TV and programme selection. Very good value.

No car park or even drop off. Wifi wasn't working, there was a pile of mud under the bed that migrated across the hard flooring. The cups were rarely clean.
