Ocean Spray Apartments

The place looks nothing like the photos at all!! It's in a dodgy area, rooms are utter filth, no hot water, there is no one at reception so you have to wait forever to check in, they state they have an airport shuttle which they don't .... they call their friends who are taxi drivers and try to charge extortionist rates! The first price I got quoted was three times the amount stated on their website and what I paid from the airport to get there!

Nice to have a ground floor appartment. Not the sea they advertise on site. Transportaion not good if you dont have a car.

Ocean Spray Apartments was one of the most amazing stays we had at Barbados. The view to the Ocean was fantastic, we rented a studio room and were not left disappointed. The studio had all the amenities interms of utensils and we self catered so it was perfect. The check in experience was amazing Rochelle and Jas were great and provided us great recommendations on the local area and things to do nearby. I was a bit worried looking at the reviews but you need to understand that this is not a 5* all-inclusive resort, but rather an apart hotel, so please keep this in mind when you book. The place is perfect if you want to stay at a nice quiet place but amazingly close to the sea and definitely value for money. The nice surprise was that they had housekeeping, which was wonderful and not something you get in other apartments. There is good public transport links close to the property but I would highly recommend renting a car to enjoy this location fully as it may seem slightly isolated otherwise. We met the owner, Mr.Patel who was very warm and welcoming. He explained to us the future upgrades they are making (Restaurant and a pool) which will really elevate the place and we can't wait to return. Overall I would highly recommend a stay there, particularly if you research the area well and have planned your visit.

Quiet island retreat at its best!

The customer service was amazing and the property itself is beyond gorgeous with absolutely breathtaking views of the ocean. The words “hidden gem” are made for this property!!!

The apartment was basic but comfortable. clean and spacious. The host was very accommodating and helpful. Parking was always available. I felt safe at the site and surrounding area. For me I did not like the fact that the clothes hanging space was in the shower room.. Overall, I definitely will make a return visit.

Property is located in a remote area. It’s like no man land. I booked to stay for two nights and arrived at 6:00pm. No one was available at front desk. Even no guest was there too. I left and reserved another hotel for my trip. When I came back to US I called Expedia and complained about the issue. Hotel refused to refund my money. Not recommended anyone to go this property.
