"Checking in is extremely problematic. Once in though lovely place!"

Great location! Beautiful city! Charming room!

The property is self check-in. But you have to call a phone number to get the information to check in. And if you don’t have a local phone that works, it becomes nearly impossible to get checked in. We waited quite a long time to try to figure out how to get in. Talked with other guests who had the exact same experience. Where other places that are self check in text you or message you in the platform the check-in information that you need this place does not…be warned!

Being hassled to pay for parking on arrival. The property advertised with free parking and we had paid in full before we arrived. We were asked to pay for parking before arrival, whilst there and after we returned home. Also asked for £50 against damages the day after we arrived. This is now against the law and it spoilt our time in York.

Amazingly great value

Beautiful clean and white linen. Everything we needed; tea & coffee making facilities, a fridge, a hairdryer and a fan and additional radiator if we had needed them.
