George Inn, Mere

A historic property in a beautiful town. A river runs along the back and walks along it are easy and safe. The inn has large dining areas and dinner and breakfast were delicious. Room was small, but clean and quiet.

Some of the best fresh-prepared food I have eaten in a hotel in a long time. Absolutely delicious

This was a lovely little bed and breakfast to stay at whilst visiting longleat with the family. All the staff were extremely welcoming, the room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay again, thank you!

Nice clean & spacious room Bed comfortable Staff friendly & helpful. Meal in evening was very nice as was the breakfast. Is an old building so expect noisy plumbing But did not effect our stay No milk in the room was only negative.
