Very friendly hotel with excellent food

Lovely, quaint, spacious, charactorful property spoilt by disregard from cleanliness. (Dirty crockery in room, mould on kettle, dirty bath and disgusting overflow to sink). Such a pity that our stay this gem of a delightful town was thoroughly spoilt by blatant neglect!!

Only stayed for 1 night but found all staff very pleasant, comfortable bedroom and breakfast was very good. Would definitely stay again.

We were looking for local, privately owned inns with character and personal connections. This inn perfectly fit the description. The staff is kind and treats you like family. Our room was full of character and quirks. The shower had plenty of pressure and we slept well. Two thumbs up from this American family

After a day out at Longleat we stayed at this lovely B&B. Much better than a generic Travelodge/Premier Inn. Good breakfast and nice bar

The hotel was very well presented, the staff were friendly and professional, both dinner and breakfast were tasty and hot. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay

Charming little pub in a super quiet village. Stayed just one night as we had a wedding near by. Room was lovely and best part was the character of the room that you wouldn’t get at a multi chain hotel. The roll top bath was a particular highlight! Would have liked a bigger tv but that’s just preference! Would absolutely recommend you to stay here. Ps the breakfast was fab and the scrambled eggs were 10/10!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here in the family room. We only stayed one night as had booked to stopover for visitng Longleat. We wished we could have stayed longer! Highlights were the friendliness of staff, freestanding bath, very high cleanliness standard and very spacious room. We had a nice evening meal and then our included breakfast which was the best cooked breakfast we've had! Will definitely be back.

Lovely big family room Only one thing needs a separate shower not over the bath! The food was Quite slow But overall very good
