Reasonably convenient location to city centre. No reception, had to phone a number to gain access of which I didn’t like, I prefer someone at the location to at least provide a key and give information if asked

A bargain price for accommodation within walking distance of the centre of York. Quiet and comfortable.

The room we stayed in needed some serious redecorating but it was warm and clean.

Slightly complicated check in process with nobody on site and having to call a mobile number. However, once I was in everything was very clear. My room was up 2 very steep sets of stairs. It was compact but clean, with a small ensuite. The shower pressure was very weak unfortunately, but otherwise the room was excellent value for money. I especially appreciated being able to leave my luggage, and when I came back, I had a very friendly welcome. The hotel is an easy 15/20 minute walk to the centre of York, and although it's on a main road, I didn't hear any traffic. I'll stay again.

Clean ,comfortable close to city centre everythinh i wanted

No frills, none at all. Check-in done over the phone. Tacky room. Poor shower. Use as an overnight base.

Text received to change my accommodation 3 hours after I was due to check in. Not where I originally booked. Ended up 15 minutes out of Town. Light curtains with a streetlight outside made the room like daylight all night. Adequate facilities. Luke warm shower . Otherwise ok.
