Bridal Tea House Hotel Yau Ma Tei Arthur Street

The room is so tiny, it's actually claustrophobic, Two people couldn't move around the room. One would have to wait for one to walk through and the other would follow simply because we just wouldn't fit. There is no room to put your luggage anywhere. The internet was terrible. Hard to connect and would disconnect constantly. If for some miracle, it did connect, it was so slow, it was useless. The room was clean, but there flies in the bathroom all the time. Probably coming from the pipes. Also, there was a terrible, strong sewer smell coming from the pipes in the bathroom every evening and during the night.

Absolutely joke of a service, upon arrival the two receptionist felt more like thugs than front house staff. First impression was extremely hostile. I booked the room under my English name however my passport shows my chinese name, both gave me a 5 minute lecture on what I did wrong and how they won’t give me a room. I shows them my booking reference in my phone they throw my phone back in the desk and finally let me check in, not before groaning how I should have booked properly. I was told to give credit card deposit which I handed my card over to preauthorise,once they finish the guy just throws it on the desk aggressively almost sliding card onto the ground. That was just the check in part, room is small, dirty, mouldy, pretty sure you can find much better for this price. 100% stay away for your own good I advise.

Gave this place a try asI was in a hurry and options were limited... The place was very shabby. My room was nothing like the pictures here. My bedside “table” was completely broken and unusable. The place was quite clean though. A two star advertising as a three star property. I’m going to avoid this hotel chain from here on.

The hotel rooms are very small but well equipped. Not a problem we visit regularly and get used to small rooms on our budget. We were in the extension which is next door through a restaurant but that's fine , however I requested a second pass key as we are on 3rd floor you need key to operate lift and enter room but they don't issue second keys . So my wife is shopping tomorrow while I am meeting friends arriving by cruise ship. No idea who will get back first but it seems we have to leave card next door at reception then first one back gets it . Still not sure how second one back can get to room unless there is a fire staircase . What a nuisance sorry won't book again . Never had an issue before getting 2 keys at any hotel .

I stayed for 3 nights, place is close to temple Street market and ya ma tei station. The worst part is size of the room, you can't imagine how small is the room. There is no space to even open your luggage. You may get impression by the photograph that room size is ok,but it is horrible. There is a deposit of 500hkd but if you negotiate the receptionist will agree to 200hkd.

Fair. But must book earlier. If just book tonight hotel will be too expensive

Average, room and toilet are a bit small, location is near to MTR.

too small, no space to open luggage. too dark in washroom. fridge is not working. after coming out from elevator, need to go thru 4 doors to arrive the room. not convenience. repectionist is not very polite. overall not recommanded.

First of all most hotels in HK have insanely small rooms and Bridal Tea house is no exception. I was a giant in those tiny bathrooms and the room's only breathable space was the vestibule area between the door and the bedroom. Nevertheless , rooms were very clean and the hotel is located close to the yau ma tei MTR stations and going to any place is pretty easy from here. Would surely recommend for couples.

bad customer service. Ask for in room slipper from the room service & was told to collect the slipper myself at the front counter instead of deliverying up to my room. Toilet were leaking water from ceiling and they had no intention to switch a room for me until I asked for the second time. super bad customer service, don't even spend ur money on this hotwl.
