"Small and suffocating disaster!"

2.0

Generally not an extremely pleasant experience for us but you can make your judgment (and ask me further questions). To sum things up in concise point form: What’s bad (and disastrous) • Room is so much smaller than the photos themselves, and there is absolutely no space for luggages. • No windows at all (at least for our room), it may feel suffocating for some. • The shower takes very slow to drain the water (see pic). • Water heater takes a long while to find the right temperature — it is either too hot or too cold; and all this time water is not draining away... • Toilet flush does not work on certain occasions... not a good thing especially when it comes to pooping. • Aircon makes lots of noises at night. • Room is not soundproof at all — we found ourselves woken up in horror when someone was locking their door violently, or when people were talking loudly. What’s good (and worth it if you’re thrifty) • Location is perfect! There are a few cheap supper places just below the hotel, convenience store, drugstore etc. • Very accessible as it is behind the Yau Ma Tei MTR, and 15 mins walk to Mongkok and Tsim Sha Tsui shopping districts, and a direct airport express bus (1 hour ride, 20 mins wait interval). • Staffs are generally nice and helpful, even if they may come off as nonchalant and rude.

"Close to MTR"

8.0

In September 2017 I spent 2 weeks in this hotel. I chose it because it was near my son who lives nearby. There are two sections in the hotel, a new and old section. I was in the new section. I was travelling alone. I had the two single beds for one week( slightly bigger) and the double room the following week.Jangy,Penny and Lin (all had good English)ran reception during the day and 2 gentlemen took over at night. The area was thoroughly Chinese and felt both authentic and safe. I didn't try the breakfast as it looked too western for my liking. 2 bottles of water were left in my room every day and there was a corner shop 10 metres away. I bought fruit in the night market (very near)every evening. There are 2 entrances- one is 5 mins from metro, the other is 5 mins from Nathan Road. What more do you want?

"nice location"

8.0

we did not expect too much because we had a tight budget for our trip to hong kong. the room space is small. and the cr is also small. but if you just want to sleep for less than 7 hours, this is a nice hotel. the place is near train station and other restaurants. it is also near sneaker street so i really love it.

"tiny worn down room"

6.0

The room is worn down and seems not very clean. Toilet is the smallest that I have ever seen. Bed is not comfortable and I feel very stressful when I enter the room. I don't think you can call it as a hotel

"Exactly what you expect"

6.0

Prime location, just few min from YMT mtr and Nathan Road. Little bit older, could do with a renovation. Was a shame had a very noisy family next two rooms who kept talking loudly with the doors open late nig-t and early morning. For the location its great, but I prefer the BTH in AnChor street.

"Excellent location BUT small room with so-so facilities, helpful front desk staffs"

6.0

We had a one night stay in a double bed room. Room was petite that we were not able to open our luggage. I knocked myself everywhere in the washroom because it was too small.. :-( The light on top of our beds was spoil and kept blinking.. we had to turn it off in order to not get dizzy of giddy because of the 'disco' effect light. Staff tried to figure out but sadly technician only able to come in the next morning. Toilet bowl cover was spoil as when I tried to lift it up, I was basically holding the whole piece of cover in my hand. Surprise! However, this hotel has very well organised luggage keeping services, which they issued number to every guest who dropped luggage after check out. Staffs were friendly and helpful also, but the unpleasant experience in the room definitely stop us from going back.

"Room small compare to other hotels."

6.0

For those on budget, it's okay but not for me. I will prefer a cosy big comfortable room like an average 4 star hotel but of "Special Sale Price."

"the room is too small"

2.0

the room is too small, when friend need to open the luggage, I have to move my luggage to the door. Bedroom and bathroom are only can turn around. Actually that's not comfortable. And the building is old, sound insulation is bad.

"Value for money, small room but clean. "

8.0

The room is a bit small, but very clean and tidy. The toilet was surprised me as they separate the bath space and washroom. The location is superb as you can reach the hotel by take off at Yau Ma Tei MRT station, exit C. Nearby got a lots of Hong Kong street food, highly recommended for 辉记车仔面, the stalls open from 6pm until midnight. Outside the main road (walking distance 3 mins), you can easily find the city flyer bus where can travel to airport. By walking distance 10-15 mins, you can reach The Landmark, whereby you also can reach to Mong Kok. Overall is not bad, but early in the morning you might heard those cleaning ladies (housekeeping) chit chat outside your room.
