Gruene Homestead Inn

Every room is unique and their new outdoor pool is going to be amazing.

We stayed in "Granny's Attic." What a cute place -- unique, quaint and spotlessly clean. I will definitely stay here again.

Two things that people must know is 1) there is no privacy. The cozy cabin sleeps 5 people comfortably but there are no doors in-between rooms. Total open concept. 2) Bring your own coffee pot if you are addicted to caffeine. There is a 4-cup coffee maker in the kitchen and it does not work. Luckily, there was a K-mart near by and we bought our own. Everything else is PERFECT!

Very nice renovations of old structures

This was the first time staying here, and it did not disappoint. It is convenienly located to Gruene and New Braunfels, and it's a quaint charming little Inn. The cabin was nicely decorated and "homey" feeling. The breakfast buffet on Sat and Sun was an exceptionally nice touch. I would highly recommend staying here and we definitely will!!

The staff was very kind, and the property was lovely. We enjoyed playing lawn games and the breakfast buffet experience. Our particular room was disappointing though. The only natural light came from a small window and a sky light. It felt historic, but we were expecting more comfort and cleanliness for the price. Our room needed both maintenance and pest control.

Really like this place

Absolutely loved our stay here- the property/ room was charming, the staff was fantastic, and the food was excellent too. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fascinating and historical room.
