Quiet, peaceful, wonderful. It was exactly what we were looking for.

Unique, historical property, kids absolutely loved it. Close proximity to everything we came to do. Awesome.

Totally enjoyed out stay! The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the breakfast did not disappoint. Would definitely come back.

Beautiful place to stay with great service

Had a great girls weekend here in August. Room wears perfect for us all to stay together. Even though we couldn’t eat in the dining room, breakfast was good and more than us gals could eat. Location was perfect since we were just a hop away from the busy gruene activity. Check out the pizza place down the street. It was amazing. Everyone was polite and wore masks in the town. We will definitely be back and I will bring my family.

Good; Quite at night. Nice country looking grounds. Room was ship lap vibe. Bad; Not a B&B as advertised. Advised due to COVID breakfast not served in dining rooms. Breakfast pick up at 9am. This needs to be made clear to potential parties booking the property. There was a line of 12 people for breakfast inside small lobby (I was the only one wearing state mandated masks). Asked for earlier as we had plans they offered 8:30 (just say no and be done with it). There are (2) large dining areas not being utilized- just put the tables 6 feet apart like all the other restaurants in the area! TVs in the room are very small 30” and 18”. Ceiling clicked all night. Pillows were like rocks so bring your own. Besides the grounds the place is the quality of a Motel 6 with a not good continental breakfast at best.

It was such a wonderful get-away. The facility, service, and appearance was amazing. Perfect. Wouldn’t change a thing. We plan to return and have already recommended it to five friends today.

We went to Gruene for a wedding. We wanted to stay pretty close and we like to stay in different places besides your typical chain hotels. We loved the Gruene Homestead Inn. The staff was super friendly. The hot breakfast was really good. We didn't get to eat in the dining area due to covid, but the staff made it work and we ate breakfast in our room. The room was very clean. Had everything we needed. Quiet at night. I was afraid there would be loud parties, since when we got there, trucks with inner tubes were parked and it was the 4th of July weekend. Surprisingly, it was really quiet and peaceful. We would most definitely stay here again.
