"Exceptional"

We love this beautiful place, so peaceful and the room was gorgeous. No soap in the room though! This posed a problem at 10 pm upon arrival for a family of 4 just getting off the river. But I would stay there again. For sure.

Nice atmosphere, no soap or shampoo in room. Looking forward to the pool that isn't there anymore. Breakfast was not impressive, no variety. When you are there for a few days scrambled eggs and bacon get old.

Beautiful property, with very nice rooms and comfy beds. The breakfast was also really good and it was very close to downtown Gruene. Will definitely go back.

The entire staff all the way to the owner Mark, were so friendly, nice and accommodating. The breakfast was superb. Next time I'm in Gruene, we will definitely stay here.

The room was very nice and we appreciated the wifi. It was nice to be able to walk next door to the Tavern on the Gruene where prices were reasonable and also had live music. The breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly.
