Hotel De La Paix

Well located, friendly staff and comfortable room

Lovely place to stay . Old scool french style. Friendly staff .

Front desk man was kind and friendly. Shower needed more hot water. Flushing Toilet needs upgrade. Breakfast was good.

It was in a great location as we were able to walk to the town to a good selection of restaurants and cafes and museum. There many WW1 monuments and cemeteries close by, which was key to our visit.

It was very French, a little quirky but clean. It was in a great location. Having a bar and breakfast available was a bonus.

Location to the town centre as only short walk to find food as the hotel still displays Restaurant signage but has not got a restaurant !!!!!!!!!

Chose this hotel as was travelling on a motorbike and wanted to be able to walk down to the restaurant rather than having to ride for food. Twin room had very little space between the two beds so was tad too cosy for comfort. Insufficient clothes storage, no AC only one socket outlet that powered all the appliances so you either had a coffee or fan running you couldn’t do both. Bathroom was very tired and had damaged tiles - best part was the macerator toilet that sounded like a jet taking off. Towels were thread bare and the sachets of shower gel gave sufficient gel to wash a hand - so there was insufficient in the room for two to take two showers. was going to ask for more until the sign was seen “the staff do not speak English”.

Location was excellent as was breakfast

We stayed on a Sunday and some facilities were closed

The Hotel is in an excellent central location in Albert we have stayed here before and since our last stay the restaurant has been replaced with a pool table so I’m assuming only bed and breakfast available now. The hotel is in need of updating but good enough for a night stop over. Host is lovely but speaks very little English.

Bathroom is rather tired and the hotel generally needs updating
