Hotel De La Paix

All good

There was cold beer after a hot day looking around the Somme war cemeteries, and right opposite is an Indian curry house that does the most delicious food ever!

We were able to park in front of hotel.

For the price we paid, the room was inadequate: . the toilet plumbing was 'antiquated', . there were no additional plugs for computer to access free Wifi . kettle lid was stuck solid so we were unable to open it to make a cup of tea . there was no bottom under sheet/mattress protector on one of the single beds . whilst we were checking in, high volume music was blaring out from a speaker on the counter and no attempt was made to turn it down so we could hear each other . Breakfast was adequate but hardly worth the 11 euros we each had to pay.

They let me store luggage before I checked in which was very helpful
