Good place to stay if in the area. Rooms were basic and clean. Had everything we needed. Breakfast was great and was a good start to the day. Only suggestion is to change the locks on doors as they are very loud and can be heard through when locking and unlocking.

Really loved the buffet dinner we had. It’s the best meal we have had during our entire stay (15 days) at Iceland. This country style hotel is a gem. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

"Puffins Central!! "

Amazing spot to see the Puffins… the staff was wonderful. It was on the pricey side. Our most expensive stop on the Ring Road by far. Very small town, not much there, except an awesome Puffin experience. That’s must be the big price tag… and it was worth it!

Friendly staff, easy check in, large room Great breakfast spread Long drive in, up/down mountain on long winding road, so take care driving in, esp. if arriving in the evening
