The Kingsley at Eversley

I've stayed here before and always find it friendly and comfy.

It would be good if the soap/shampoo could be provided in little bottles or similar. The sachets provided have to be cut with scissors which is inconvenient when you are in the shower already. In the room I stayed in, there are no shelves or dishes to put these on while you are showering, so everything ends up on the floor.

Liked that staff accommodating to our requests.

Having stayed in other accommodation the night before that included breakfast in their price I did question price point for just a room. I can only think that property being closer to London would be reason for higher price point.

I liked the footpaths around there to run

Very noisy around 1.30am to 2.30 am with other guests banging doors and talking very loud .

If it had been clean, having the fully equipped kitchen would have been great.

It was filthy, staines on the sofa, the bed pillows stank, trailing cables, cobwebs in corners, mould on skirting, leak behind the toilet, it was in dire need of maintenance. A nasty stain on an upholstered chair looked like someone had peed on it .... I cleaned the mouldy washing machine as it was never going to get anything clean in the condition it was in. I found a saucepan with food residue and mould on it. Someone had obviously broken the glass curved shower door so a shower curtain was rigged up instead. There were flies everywhere and I kept clearing them up. The WIFI was patchy. Although they say they take pets, there is nowhere for them to walk. I faced a garden area and asked if I could walk my little dogs there last thing at night at was told that the resident dog, was friendly/not friendly so maybe on a lead and only on the terrace and then told no. I paid for three nights but left after two, when my business in the area was concluded. The original room they gave me, the door would not close from the outside so I was 'upgraded' to an even filthier room. There were stains on the stair carpet outside the first room. I did not drink in the bar or have breakfast, the place stank of the resident dog.

Friendly staff and a comfortable, clean, modern room. Good breakfast the following morning.
