"One of Those Places You Want to Go Back To."

Super friendly staff. Comfortable, if a bit dated bedrooms. Delicious breakfasts. Wonderful setting in the vineyard. The pool was good to swim in. Artwork everywhere. Just one of those places you just want to visit again.

When we arrived it was with incredulity that we were shown to our suite. The room was awful, dirty and lacking in most of the facilities promised. We could not wait to leave.

"An exceptional 5 star experience."

Excellent breakfast and exceptional surroundings. The house was spacious and beautifully curated with fabulous art work everywhere. It felt like being in someone’s home. The added bonus of having a wonderful lunch and a relaxed wine tasting at the restaurant was a highlight.

This is one of the most stunning places we have ever stayed. It feels like you are a guest in a family home. Team are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.

"Worth a visit to the wine lodge but stay/hotel not as expected."

Lovely setting, great breakfast and super helpful/welcoming staff. Fantastic pool area and great wine tasting. Kind to give complimentary wine and wine tasting. Would recommend the picnic which was enjoyable. And the wine is superb!

Room was dark and quite dated, in need of TLC and updating. Some basics we expected were lacking eg soap at the sink, clothes hangers, hooks and mirror in bedroom. Felt like we were in someone else’s home - owner lives in the property with family and two very large dogs who bark frequently (they are friendly but it’s a bit alarming to return to after an evening out!). Is more like a B&B.
