Hotel Las Arenas

Food in restaurant was like canteen school food, tables never cleaned, etc etc.. Breakfast - you can really go wrong with that. Evening Meal - Wouldnt book HB as its not worth it ( like school meals, same food bar one change each night), not enough staff, no clearing of tables when peple have finished eating, no dress code so people able to turn up in swimming costumes etc - this was even the case for breakfast. House Keeping - Very good and room was good with the exception of the towels in the bathrooms - they should have been put in the bin when the building had its refit a number of years ago - sandpaper type quality. Bar Staff - Very good. Reception Staff - Not very helpful and especially when asked about a late check out (which we would pay for) told no rooms available when in fact later they did say they didnt want to clean a room later on so didnt want to let a room out.. Not a problem we wont be staying here again...

We had a wonderful stay in this fantastic hotel. We had a half-board ackomodation. Both the breakfast and the dinner buffet were extraordinarily rich and varied. The staff was extremely helpful and service minded. Although not inexpensive, this hotel offers value for money. The only thing that was not top-notch were the elevators. Their capacity was far to low, and they worked haphazardly.

We were looking for a pleasant spot near the airport for our last night before an early am flight. It was fine for us.

Dersom du er over 180 cm. lang bør du styre unna dette hotellet. Sengene er ikke lengre og det medførte at føttene mine lå ut over sengekanten. Forsøkte å klage på dette men fikk til svar at alle sengene var like lange på hele hotellet. I tillegg hadde vi bestilt et rom ut mot bassenget. Det viste seg å være helt unødvendig da balkongen var svært liten og du måtte sitte sidelengs på stolen for å få plass bak glassveggen. Rommene ut mot gata var dessuten større. Vi fikk ikke plassert bort koffertene våre under sengen da det var tre ben på hver side og dermed for smalt til å få den under. (helt vanlige str. på koffertene). Det var ikke plass til disse noe sted og det var heller ikke skap/hyller. Det var ikke tillatt å ta med seg kaffekoppen ut fra frokostsalen for å ta denne med opp på rommet. Hver morgen kl. 0700 begynte personalet å klargjøre for frokost (og bassengområdet) og ropte og pratet da til hverandre. I tillegg ble fontenen skrudd på tidlig. En "pålitelig" vekkerklokke da døren ut til balkongen sto delvis åpen hver natt da aircondition ikke virket... Beliggenheten er bra for oss som hadde med oss sykler men dette hotellet var IKKE verdt prisen og vi styrer garantert unna dette hotellet neste år

We stayed in a junior room with sea view. View was amazing and we had sun loungers on our balcony. Room was clean. If you are coming for a break to sunbathe then this hotel may not be for you. Roof top area opens at 10 and there will be a queue to get in. You will be lucky to get a bed at the pool unless you queue early. The pool on the bottom floor gets the sun from around 1230 (we were there April). However the views on the roof top are stunning. One day we rented a bali bed for €60 instead of paying for late checkout. We got a bottle of wine and lunch from the bar menu which was fab. I would recommend getting a Bali bed this made our experience on the roof top more enjoyable. The area is fab and has everything you need on your doorstep. Would highly recommend the Manchester pub. Bus was only €2 each way to get into Palma. Bus stop is located beside th BP fuel station a few minutes walk from the station. Bus number is A25 which is the express that will get you there in about 15 mins. Overall I do recommend this hotel but I wouldn't go back purely because of the sunbathing capacity isn't great and we didn't visit at a peak time

Rezeption war nicht so freundlich

Vi boede 4 nætter på Hotel Arenas. Hotellet har en skøn beliggenhed med udsigt ud over bugten i Can Pastilla. Der er masser af restauranter lige nedenfor hotellet. Hotellet har en dejlig solterrasse hvor man kan se helt ind til Palma bugten - så smukt. Dejlig morgenmad - manglede intet. Kommer helt sikkert tilbage til dette skønne hotel. Vh Mette fra Danmark
