Hotel Convento Tarifa

Like Size of room, check in, location Didn't Bed is awful,.springs from 1995

Our room was a standard room that included a king bed and a nice, separate bathroom. The room was very clean. There were two large windows that could be opened onto small landings. The hotel is just outside of the walled portion of the old city. Easily accessible plus close to restaurants and other attractions in Tarifa.

Very nice hotel, real clean and the attention recived from the staff was so great. I liked at all Staying at Convento Hotel.

We found the staff to be very helpful. Our Spanish is not so good,but they spoke English enough to help. Unfortunately their restaurant was closed, it has a fabulous courtyard. Easy to walk around town and go to Tanger for a day trip.

The style was so charming and the atmosphere was very relaxing! The location was within walking distance to the old city and plenty of restaurants. I traveled with my husband and 9 month old daughter and they were very accommodating.

Location is good. Very walkable to the ferry to tangier. The front desk was friendly. It is off a main road but not too loud. I did hear a cat meowing at night though. The hotel is very white and all the decor is in pale color.

wonderful renovated building, great spaces, and decor. Located on Main Street, but just enough away from the busiest area to be quiet. Lovely place.

Excellent location near the Old Gate, near ferry to Tangiers. Very charming, roomy. Huge bath towls. Lots of hot water and pressure. Staff was helpful, but I wish they spoke (better) English.

During our tour of Spain, we drove from Nerja to Tarifa in order to make a day trip to Tangier /Morocco. Thus we stayed two nites in Tarifa at the Hotel Convento. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Great bathroom, little balcony. OK free Wi-Fi. Service was good and all very friendly. Hotel Convento was easy to find (right on the main drag) and we were lucky enough to find free parking on the street nearby. Restaurant in hotel not open when we were hungry but restaurants which we enjoyed and shops within easy walking distance. Tarifa is always windy (much kite surfing) but kinda hip and lively. Port for ferry to Tangier was a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. Tangier was scenic, fun and interesting with different food, lots to see and great shopping. All in all, great way to spend a few days.
