I stayed here for four nights and was totally pleased with the place. I booked through Expedia and the process was simple. The next day I checked in and was able to check in early. The room was cozy, cleanly, and quiet. The staff are nice and helpful. The price was fair and I would recommend the place for anyone looking for a B&B to stay in. Easy walk to Reading Station and to many shops and restaurants.

Too expensive for a no frills lodge. The room was very small, twin beds were not big enough to hold my frame. Could not find a charging point in the room. Overall not going back there again.

The place is very clean run by a friendly landlord but it is spoilt by the details. The bedroom door sticks and is difficult to open. The light switches are in the wrong places.

Warm welcome on check in. Very hot weather but my room was at the cooler back of the hotel that didn't get the afternoon sun and window opened. Lovely clean bathroom and shower. Room furnishings a little dated but clean and good tea making facilities. Breakfast of cereal and toast was fine for me, cooked breakfast was available. Friendly staff. Good car park which I didn't need to use this time but will in the future. Friendly staff.

Accommodation is clean and comfortable, host is polite, friendly, and helpful, and all at a great value price.

Very basic b n b. I booked a single room with Continental breakfast for £59.00, then paid £5 extra for the "full" English. 1 sausage, egg, bacon and a couple of spoons of beans plus toast. Continental was choice of 3 cereals and some fruit. Room was very small, cramped, half-height cupboard for a wardrobe. Clean but more a Contractors b n b than a business or leisure "hotel". Free parking the major bonus.
