Hotel Rio Malecon

Front desk lady was very nice. Held our luggage.

Room not properly cleaned. WiFi and t.v. streaming was the worst. Car bombed a half block away and both convenient stores burned to the ground. Pool is pretty to look at but inside courtyard. Very cold and uninviting were it sits.

Close to the malacon, restaurants and beach in the Romantic area. Hotel has a small pool and a restaurant connected to it. Food and staff is great! Our room was small but had all we needed. Cleaners very nice and very good.

Nothing! The hotel is on the old side but it is clean and the staff are wonderful.

Excellent location. Excellent value for what we paid. Easy walk to everything. Room was spacious with kitchenette. Balcony overlooking street and another outdoor sitting area by entrance door. Friendly staff.

Street noise from traffic and bar across street but not a big deal. Didnt interfere with sleep.

El precio por la habitación no lo vale, el baño se veía sucio, no sé como explicarlo más, y no nos hicieron limpieza dos días, mal, solo valió la ubicación. Además mi pareja amaneció con piquetes de chinches de la cama

Staff were lovely and the mango margaritas at the bistro were amazing! The room was very large and had access to a balcony from which a small view of the ocean was possible.

The room was quite dark and drab in colour and the mirror was damaged and added to the downtrodden feeling of the hotel. However, a glance in some rooms being cleaned suggests some rooms have been re-done and are much brighter and new. The pool was not inviting as it was quite small, had dirt on the bottom, and is located right against the bistro and its tables. You almost felt you were swimming in a restaurant fountain! And very little sunlight makes it down to the pool itself, so not a place you want to relax by.

The AC was not that great . There was mold in the shower the hotel is very old needs a lot of work .

On-site restaurant was good. Great staff. Would use again given the opportunity.

No seating on uncovered outdoor balcony.
