Hotel Rio Malecon

Very pleasant, clean, comfortable bed, nice staff, restaurant in hotel, great location for walking to anywhere on the Malecon.

No drinking water in room, but there's an oxxo across the street, and they provide drinking water at restaurant

Demasiado lento el check in y check out, venían familiares a visitarnos y no les permitieron el acceso ni al área común

The location was convenient to the Malecon (boardwalk)and provided lots of interesting people watching. The soundproofing from the street was AMAZING and when we closed the door to the balcony, the street noise disappeared. The bed was comfy and the room was super clean. The front desk staff was helpful and kind.

The hotel fan systems were super loud ( both the room ones and the hotel fans), and the hotel lights glowed through the door making darkness for sleeping difficult. The kitchenette could have been stocked with basics like salt, pepper, and matches. And the gas flow to the stove was unsafe. The location information should have been clear that the hotel was right in the middle of the main roads through town!
