Bohol Sea Resort

This place is great, especially for guests wishing to avoid Chinese New Year crowds from the mainland. We highly recommend staying here. The owner is very knowledgable and the staff super friendly. The food is good and the location is quiet. Consider upgrading for a larger room if possible. This is a good place to go to from Cebu, with a lot of excursion offerings I the surrounding area.

I had a wonderful stay at the Bohol Sea Resort. It's located in a quiet and secluded area at the south west end of Panglao on Danao Beach. I had a 3 night stay there. They have a nice pool, nice breakfast area (free breakfast included), and a pool table and bar area. Also a Dive and Snorkel shop onsite and a private beach area as well. I did some Snorkeling there and seen some amazing fish, star fish, and got some great video with my Go Pro Hero 3 video camera. I stayed in a Deluxe Bungalow and it was very nice, clean and spacious with Air-Conditioning (Much Needed!!), an in room digital safe, small refrigerator/minibar stocked with some waters, beers, etc for a reasonable charge, TV and in room WiFi. I met the 2 German owners and they were really nice and accommodating. The entire hotel staff was really nice. It's a little far from "Alona Beach", but you can get there by Trike, Motorbike or Cab if you don't want to walk. I would stay here again on a future stay to Panglao and Bohol.

A quiet German run place, with friendly stuff. Cute little pool, and at the beach. Food can be ordered at premises which isn't wow, but expensive. take a 10 minutes motorbike drive into town to eat. I needed peace and quiet, and I'm not into eating so this place was good.

The road the place was on was terrible.... You could only go 2 MPH to get there. The lock to the front door was messed up and it always took a few tries to get it open. The bathroom door was messed up also, it would feel like it was locked when it was not and you had to mess with it to get the door open. Other than that the place was very clean and secluded and quiet. Go out side the gate and there was nothing nearby and what was there were run down shack/houses.

Bohol Sea Resort is great for a short stay and the staff are helpful and friendly. They have a Dive shop onsite and very informative dive guides. Our only recommendation (which was relayed to them) would be for them to install some fans in the restaurant area due to the humidity!!!!

Hotel is just great. If you want to stay a bit away from the noise of Alona Beach, this is the perfect place. Just 10 minute drive or 25min walk from the main beach, this place is great. Amazing staff, great owners/managers...makes for a wonderfull vacation time! Would go back to the same hotel without thinking about it. This is a great choice!!!

A very well maintained hotel in a quiet location, but still only 5 minutes down the road from Alona Beach. Good facilities and service - a good choice for a relaxing break.

Very clean well maintain resort only issue is the beach isn't really a swimming beach staff very friendly everywhere is spotlessly clean and everything works in the room it's a bit far away from anything and very quiet if that's what you want

Resort is a great place for a couple to enjoy some private time together. Island hopping and snorkeling good Grounds are beautifully landscaped. Food was good Staff very friendly Far from town and attractions on dirt road. Don't recommend taking children they will be really bored. Pool was not maintained to my standards and no beach for swimming.

The hotel itself is nice enough, but if your lugging baggage please note that there is no paved road to the hotel. You must carry your luggage thru the sand (beach front) to get there. Hotel was nice, check out staff was pretty incompetent tho.
