FERGUS Club Palmanova Park

We stayed at the Furgus Hotel from the 11th to the 17th of October for a family holiday, and from start to finish everything was spot on. Check-in was quick, efficient, and genuinely friendly — the staff made us feel welcome straight away. Our room was spotless when we arrived, with fresh bedding and towels waiting for us. The food offered plenty of variety to suit all tastes, especially for continental guests. It wasn’t fine dining, but everything was fresh, well presented, and perfectly decent for an all-inclusive. The drinks were excellent — from soft drinks to cocktails, everything tasted great and was served with a smile. What really stood out was the staff. Every single person, from reception to the cleaners, was friendly and helpful. You could tell they genuinely enjoyed their jobs, and it made such a difference to the atmosphere around the hotel. One night we asked for extra blankets because it got a bit chilly — they sorted it straight away, no fuss at all. Accessibility around the hotel was excellent. There were ramps leading to the pool bar and reception, and even a hoist to help lift disabled guests into and out of the pool — something you don’t often see but really appreciated. Honestly, we couldn’t fault a thing. Everything was exactly as expected, and if there had been any issues, I’m confident the team would’ve sorted them out straight away. We loved it so much that we’ve already booked to come back next year! We’d definitely recommend the Furgus Hotel to anyone looking for a friendly, clean, and accessible place to stay.

Dont worry about negative reviews. We stayed here for 1 week i had paid for our upgraded room to have the hot tub as it was a belated 40th for my husband. My daughter booked separately we had requested rooms together. When checking in reception were so quick and helpful, we got a nice surprise as my daughters room had also been upgraded courtesy of the hotel. The hotel was very clean, staff all friendly. We found food decent, the first time we have ever stayed at a Fergus hotel and we are looking at others now as we were very pleased with the food and the service we received. We did have issues with the hotel tub were maintenance were called a few times the same guy came and he was so nice, nothing was too much trouble. The snack bar is great we are picky eaters and found something to eat for breakfast and snack. We do eat out on an evening, entertainment was ok best night was bingo safly we didnt get to experience the silent disco which we were looking forward too. Hotel isn't to far to walk into palma nova strip, highly recommend the ice cream stall ice cream was very reasonable and delicious. Lots of bars and restaurants too we loved Banana Joe's! We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will definitely be returning to this hotel and other Fergus hotels.

I'm a wheelchair user and my room exceeded my expectations. The room was spacious, had a big balcony and the bathroom was well adapted with rails and shower seat. The only thing the bathroom could've done with, was some shelves to put my toiletries on, as I struggle picking things up. Other than that, I can't fault the place. Loved the area, the staff were great, Dylan on reception and Giofranco, were very helpful and were understanding of my needs. Would definitely come back again.

We booked this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This is a long review but an honest, balanced one. On arrival we were happy as the exterior and reception area were both really nice. Check in was quick and easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. The lifts were good and we never needed to queue to get one. ROOMS Our room was very spacious and clean although a few places could do with some maintenance to bring it up to standard. There were only 6 coathangers provided which is nowhere near enough but thankfully I always take my own as well as a hanging storage organiser. The wardrobe height means you can't hang up a maxi dress as it's barely long enough for a gent's shirt. See picture. The air con was very good and it was quiet when in use. The balcony was spacious but only had 2 chairs. The walk in shower was big and it's the most powerful we've experienced in a hotel. The fridge was small and just enough for a few bottles and some chocolate on the little door shelf. Towels were changed daily and the housekeeping staff always said hello. POOL AREA The pool area was clean but the small tables between the sunbeds were never seen getting cleaned during the day. We never struggled getting a sunbed throughout our stay. A great safety feature on the sunbeds was a wedge underneath to stop it tipping if you sat on the front edge. We also noticed that there is a hoist for disabled guests to allow them access to the pool. No inflatables permitted in the pool so keep this in mind. DRINKS The cocktails at the pool bar came from a machine and were so watered down you couldn't identify what they should be. Real Coke, Fanta and Sprite were on tap and you could help yourself to these. For your other drinks it was local spirits. McKevitt's Sports bar was the only place to get branded spirits. It was €9.20 for a gin and Sprite. It was always quiet with no atmosphere so we only went twice during our stay. This is where you'll find the pool table. FOOD Now this is the big let down for the hotel. The food was not of a standard for a 4* hotel, it was food for the masses with no culinary flair. As an example - their chicken curry was chicken legs (on the bone) sitting in curry sauce. Not the standard of food we were expecting. Although the food were in Bain Maries it was never piping hot. At the salad bar none of the dishes were covered and there were flies in some of the dishes. A simple cover over each would have been an easy solution. Although the dining were wiped not once did they use an antibacterial spray between guests. Poor housekeeping. Breakfast was the only meal that was good. The hash browns were so nice. Food in the evening was so bad we ended up eating out for dinner even though we were on an all inclusive package. ENTERTAINMENT Although we didn't have any children with us it was clear that the entertainment team were good with the kids. The evening entertainment for adults was average but that's expected in big hotels. We found brilliant tribute acts at the Stadium bar. LOCATION The hotel was a 5 minute walk to Lidl if you wanted snacks or proper drinks. 5 minutes the other way and you are at the promenade for a great choice of restaurants. Max Garden and Saffron being our favourites. All in all a nice relaxing holiday but we wouldn't return based on the food offerings.

Very clean hotel cant fault this. Food good but quite repetitive. Entertainment could be better, quite boring and repetitive. Needs more indoor areas, when it rained there was nowhere for people to go.

This place is amazing. My partner is in a wheelchair. Diabled room very spacious with shower seat and grab rails for shower and toilet. Staff are amazing they will bend over backwards to meet your needs and make sure you stay is perfect. They work so hard to greet you and make you feel welcome from the off go. Me and me and my parter not stayed here with children. But it's great for family's to stay here too. The cleaners very furrow.

Me and my family went on a week holiday together and it was amazing!! Shame about the weather at the end but entertainment was great! The food was amazing and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were okay!

Great hotel especially if staying with kids clean spacious room , good choice of food and drink, the staff were all lovely friendly and so helpful , there was entertainment from 10am daily for both kids and adults , the entertainment team especially for the kids we're excellent, our kids loved margo and Jessy, would recommend this hotel ❤️
