The room

I loved the room. Super spacious and comfortable, all the amenities I needed, they had. Their shower was divine.

The staff. On several occasions I was ignored by the female staff at reception, and in one instance I was helped by a tour guide as they continued to ignore me. The location. If you are planning on using public transport to get around, this is not the place for you. Nor does it have enough food options. If you're using a car or pick up service, then it's fine.

nice housekeeping staff. however, I booked 2 reservations for staying continuous 3 nights, the front desk staff told me everything’s settled upon my check-in. the next day after i got back to the room, a gentleman looks like FDM called to my room saying my reservation is 1 night and offering me a full house room rate to extend my stay. don’t know whether it’s front desk or Reservation team’s mistake.

By the river so the view is very nice on clear days and evenings. Rooms are getting dated and carpets looking tired and stained. All rooms are plaqued by smokers who do not respect others which is a terrible problem in China no matter the hotel. Hallways are dark and the rooms are looking tired. Executive lounge is good with basics but with very simple Chinese hot dishes and factory made steamed buns. The riverside is a very nice walk but watch out for crazy electric bikes. We got an upgrade to the Business Deluxe Room so the service was fantastic regardless of the age of the hotel. Breakfast is good with favorites from the East and West. It’s just looking tired though.
