Chambre un peu petite et sanitaire défaillant ! Pas trop grave mais …..

The Bayleaf is a gem inside the Intramuros walls. I had lived near Manila when I was quite young, and I spent one night here to wander around and have dinner. The hotel is well located, a short 10 minute walk to the cathedral and cobblestone markets. Cocktails and food at the rooftop bar were terrific.

The staff was entirely helpful and friendly, they arranged all our taxi rides. And it is a beautiful 😍 place, I especially appreciated the air conditioning in the lobby!

Overall it was very nice, just an ant problem in the bathroom, but nothing we couldn’t handle

Everything. Breakfast is always very nice.

First - I love the Intramuros location/site of the Hotel, felt like you were in the Spanish pre-war era. Rooms are clean and spacious, comfy and cool, view is great. Breakfast is also good, it just takes quite some time to replenish the dishes, once it runs out and my husband commented on the coffee - he expected it to be like free flowing especially when it's brewed. But it's manageable.

Bedroom slippers - had a charge. Manageable but, in other hotels, it's free, though.

We came here to celebrate Father's Day. It's also oir second time to stay and up to now, it has never been disappointing. Even if this hotel is miles away from home, we don't mond the trip. Food is really good. Afternoon snacks at their Churros place is a great start! Then, we had dinner at the SkyDeck - with a wonderful view; ordered lamb chops, bagnet, shrimp taco - all very delightful. Drinks were really cool, my daughter ordered tequila sunrise and for us, negroni. It was a great night! Next day's breakfast buffet was also good, just takes time for dishes to get replenished. All in all - close to perfection, highly recommended. We will definitely come back.
