Great if you want to get away without the big resort hustle and bustle.Easy access to transport into Port Vila, you can buy groceries just a short walk away.The resort owners and staff are simply amazing and will help you book trips as well as drop you into town if they are going in. Also this is one of the top restaurants around.

No complaints from us. Late arrival no problem, accomodation nice and clean, perfect overnight stay and complimentary continental breakfast very nice, we were hungry so also ordered omelette and bacon and eggs. Restaurant is a great location looking over the lagoon.

We had a wonderful week at Vila Chaumieres with lovely hosts Ursula and Richard and their helpful staff. We enjoyed the fact that it was only a little away out of the busy streets of town but also easily accessible by the many buses going past the front door. Our hosts helped us with advice on tours and things to do. Situated on a lagoon with a wonderful restaurant attached we would recommend this resort to anyone seeking an alternative place to stay from the larger resorts on Efate.

Beautiful garden, great lagoon view, fantastic menu, and the service was fab!! Nice and quiet away from the rest of the tourist hub. Please pass on our thanks to the team

Wow, what a find! This place has it all - best views, wonderful restaurant & incredibly welcoming staff. Vila Chaumieres offer exceptional hospitality and made our holiday a breeze! We will be back for our next trip to Vanuatu.

Had an excellent 7 days here. Room was perfect, very clean, comfortable bed, everything we needed. Lovely views, excellent restaurant and service. Laid back vibe means you really relax. Gardens are truly beautiful and the property is lovingly looked after. Good base to explore the island from. Nothing was too much trouble for Richard and Ursula, very knowledgeable hosts. Loved it. Very special.
