Guilinyi Royal Palace

Our family loved staying at this hotel. The setting is peaceful and beautiful situated in the middle of a park. The hotel is built in a traditional style. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. We stayed only 2 nights but wished we could have stayed longer.

Professional and courteous staff! Service from housekeeping was prompt. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety.

The hotel grounds are lovely, ad the fact that the hotel is inside of a botanical garden, well-frequented by locals, is amazing. We really enjoyed walking around and seeing all of the families and friends using the garden. The pool is nice and all of the hotel staff are friendly and efficient. Our 12-year old did not want to leave after 3 days.

This hotel is located in a beautiful park just outside the city centre. Shuttle service is provided to the entrance of the park and the bus station is just outside the park. Busline 10 provides frequent and cheap transportation to town.

This hotel was fun and great value. I wish I'd stayed longer. The hotel itself is in a great parkland and you'll need the shuttle bus from front gate to hotel. The staff are excellent and can help with all your travel needs. I recommend the Li river cruise. The gardens are very nice, room comfy and king bed soft. Wifi works well. Guilin is a nice place try their local dumplings with choice of sauce for breakfast. The restaurant is really good and reasonable a hidden delight of the hotel. First of after the sea cucumber and frog dishes look at the Chinese and Cantonese food I had the pork buns; fried rice and beef with noodles just fantastic best rice ever. Cost- 17 AUD!!! Overall a great place to stay in Guilin.

Overall very nice hotel. The garden is so beautiful and calm, recommendable for those who are looking for a peaceful stay. The other strength is the hotel staff, who are so gente and supportive. Very nice experience.

Surprisingly, the hotel is located IN a large botanic garden. It has its own beautiful grounds with waterways throughout filled with koi, gazebos, terraces,etc. The reception and rooms are tasteful and comfortable. We had a private walled terrace off the bedroom and another off the bathroom. We also had one of those fancy toilets with wash and dry functions. Service was impeccable. Restaurant fine for breakfast, but limited in appeal for other meals. Beautiful place to stay in otherwise busy, not too lovely Guilin.

Amazing environment at Botanical Garden

This hotel is beautiful, but the room was smelly and the restaurant is not that good...it doesnt have vegetarian options and when they had veggies, they had a lot of oil... the staff were great and very nice!!!!

we had a fantastic experience at this hotel. an incredible value for money. the staff were friendly and very helpful. they helped us book tours in Guilin and the area. arranged pick up for us and made our stay worthwhile! this hotel is warmly recommended .
