Guilinyi Royal Palace

Ever since we were picked up in the airport, we felt in good hands by the friendly staff. As we arrived at the hotel, located in the middle of a botanic garden, we were stunned by the peace and quiet. The hotel staff also helped us out in arranging trips to the Li River and the Longji Rice Terraces. When we needed to catch an early flight, the hotel was kind enough to pack us a to-go breakfast.

This Hotel was set in beautiful botanical gardens and was like a little oasis in Guilin. The staff were all friendly and efficient and would love to go back again.

This place is great. Kind of weird being inside of a park but they take you on a little golf cart to and from the gate. The staff was welcoming, the room was super nice, the grounds clean (and they have a koi pond where you can feed the fish!), and the on-site breakfast was delicious. No complaints here!

The best hotel we've ever stayed with the beautiful landscape and Tang dynasty architecture, feels like going back in time. The name of Guilin-yi Inn is far too modest. Its grossly inadequate for a place of such exquisiteness.

If you just want to take the river cruise and visit the terraces, this is a great place. They will organize the trips, hire a driver (David is highly recommended).. If you want to also explore the city, it is a bit isolated inside a very nice park. But the hotel is charming and great

This is a beautiful "bungalow" within botanical garden. Taxis cannot enter the park, but hotel arranges a "golf cart" to take you to the park main gate and back. The staff spoke good English. Room was spacious, and well equipped. There is a new shopping area close to the hotel, where one can find some restaurants. Hotel's own restaurant was ok, but a bit expensive.

Gorgeous park location. Staff very friendly and helpful. English is ok. Short ride into town. Worth it, as center of town is quite busy. This resort is peaceful with nice views.

I stayed at Guilinyi for two nights. The experience was fantastic. Situated in the middle of a botanical garden, the hotel's ground is a beautiful traditional Chinese garden. My room was big, comfortable and most importantly, quiet - in stark contrast with the city itself. The furniture was well appointed and the room came with a big balcony overlooking the garden, which is very nice to sit in. In terms of food, the breakfast buffet had a great selection. I had lunch there once as well, which was quite good, although I reckon there are better choices in town. One drawback is the location - it wouldn't have been a problem if the traffic were not that bad. Alas, the city centre is but a 15-minute walk. All in all an excellent stay.

its a lovely little hotel in a beautiful setting very quiet & the staff where very helpful would go back agin. i realy enjoyed my stay at this little hotel very quiet & peaceful in a beautiful setting the room was very nice, very clean & the staff was very helpful would go back again
