A great little stopover on the long drive up top. As a solo (female) traveller felt safe. The room was basic but clean and had what i needed to rest my head for night (including microwave so could heat a meal). I stayed on a Saturday night and was pleasantly surprised at lack of noise. If you struggle with stairs though you may need to mention on booking. Looked Family owned and all staff were incredibly friendly.
