Nongsa Point Marina

Breakfast was good. Scenery from the lobby was beautiful. Staff were nice.

The place could do with alot of upgrading to the bungalow the whole unit was very dim with minimal lighting so we call to ask for a change of rooms and was given a (free) upgrade chalet unit (duplex) which was much better the staff did try to their best to make our stay comfortable.

It was secluded and peaceful and had all the facilities we needed.

The resort was very far off the city centre, and the staff were not accommodating. The management didn't allow deliveries into the resort due to security reasons and we had to make multiple trips to the security post (15 minutes walk) just to collect Grab deliveries. Also, the breakfast that was included with the room was mediocre at best, it was apparently closed by 10:30 am but by 10 the hotel manager will start refusing guests and clear the buffet area. When asked about it, they will reluctantly serve the food with a sneer. It is blatant that their hospitality only applies to the White guests and other Asian guests are not prioritised.

Room was not clean and fan was not working.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Villa was very spacious. Location was ideal as it was within walking distance from their sister resort - Turi Beach Resort. Nongsa Point Marina guests may use the facilities at Turi Beach Resort for free. Food at Nongsa Point Marina was pretty good.

The resort is quite dated and in need of a makeover. There was a small jacuzzi pool which was filthy and probably not usable. Despite communicating with them through Booking.com's messaging link...... They totally forgot to decorate my bed as a surprise to my wife in celebration of our 7th Anniversary. Then at dinner (I had already made reservations for a table top BBQ and a small cake and paid 50% as deposit)...... I nearly blew my top when the restaurant front desk had no clue about who I was and had no information about my table top BBQ. Because of this....my second surprise for my wife was blown as I had to practically shout at them that I had made reservations and also ordered a cake. After calling the resort reception to sort out the problem ... It was revealed that my table had been set up outdoors by the Marina but no one update the restaurant staff. Although we had a great dinner, it was very disappointing that all my surprises for my wife failed because of a total lack of professionalism and training for the staff. They did give us a complimentary late check out till 2pm but I had to ask for it. Nothing was offered as an apology for all the screw ups. However.....things didn't go well at check out either. I held an open ferry ticket to return to Singapore and had asked the Resort Reception to confirm me on the 1420 ferry. They said it was not necessary as I could just do it at the ferry terminal. When I got to the ferry terminal..... The 1420 and 1520 ferries were already fully booked and they could only offer us a seat in the 1630 ferry. This meant that we had to wait at the ferry terminal for 3 hours. I called Nongsa Point Marina to send a driver to pick us up so we could wait at the resort instead. Lucky for us the person they sent was somehow able to get us aboard the 1420 ferry back to Singapore.
