Logo na chegada já fomos surpreendidos com a possibilidade de escolha do quarto. Uma amabilidade que virou uma constante em nossa permanência. Todos os funcionários são fantásticos e o Chef da cozinha mereceria ao menos 1 Estrela Michelin. Um Hotel isolado que se transformou em maravilhosa experiência de viagem.

O local em que fica o hotel é maravilhoso, com linda vista para a montanha. Os funcionários são de uma simpatia e presteza sem igual. O dono do estabelecimento oferece uma caminhada pela área pela manhã, fornecendo explicações sobre o local e os imóveis que nele existem. O café da manha é muito bom, com compotas de frutas feitas no hotel e vários pães e doces muito frescos e saborosos. A ressalva que eu faria seria a respeito do banheiro, que é muito pequeno, com uma pia mínima e um box que mal cabe uma pessoa. A internet nos quartos também não é boa. De resto, tudo é muito bom e valeu a pena pelo conjunto geral.

Excelente hotel na Serra da Estrela. Café da manhã muito bom, quarto confortável e de bom gosto, o banheiro deixa a desejar, o box é muito pequeno. Excelente jantar e serviço, o preço é bem caro, mas vale a pena para quem pode pagar!

This place is an absolute "must-go to" for those looking for a good mountain / nature retreat with homey ambience.

Fantastic place to go for walks and drives in the Serra de Estrela. Hotel also runs the Burel factory and shop, which is a short drive away in Manteigas and well worth a visit and purchase!

This is an amazing spot high up in the mountains. We went there in September, not during ski season, so except for the hotel guests there was nobody in any of the nearby cottages, and it was really nice to take a short hike around the rocks and amazing views. The hotel itself is very beautiful. Lots of Nordic furniture and beautiful fabrics made in the nearby town. This place is owned by the people who own the Burel company. The food at both dinner, which you must pay for, and breakfast, which is included was VERY good. The only complaint was that one of workers at the desk, who also worked a waitress had a very bad cold. IF YOU ARE SICK PLEASE DONT COME TO WORK AND WAIT ON PEOPLE!!!

Epic stay, never experienced better service--ever. The service was unbelievable, the food was unbelievable, every meal was a culinary masterpiece, the bikes were in great condition, location beautiful and remote. High quality establishment. The shortcomings were poor internet service, the sauna was constantly broken, and it is very very remote which was good but also bad at times.

The design features are excellent, very nordic in style and the smell of the fresh mountain air and the wood is just delightful. The attention to detail and the way the staff take care of guests is second to none. Fabulous restaurant, if you stay here, definitely have the dinner. You won't regret it. It's a peaceful mountain sanctuary!
